We got the recommendation for Bridgeway Service from Consumer s' Checkbook 25(?) years ago. One of the best recommendations, ever!!! We buy used cars and keep them for a very long time. Steve Carvalho is generous on prices, always checked with us to see our plans on keeping an old vehicle before doing a more costly repair, has connected us with a fellow client who wanted to sell a vehicle (connected, not brokered), has done a travel safety check for free (for long-time customers), has advised us on appropriate vehicles to buy - even though it meant fewer repairs and less business for him, has referred us to other mechanics for specialized repairs he doesn't do. His mechanic, Jeff, has been with him for ~45 years.
