I waited months before rating to add that there were NO leaks through rainy season from this tile roof replacement. This was the most complete service of any contractor I ever had. They pulled the permit, performed tear-off, extensive dry rot repair, matched the vintage Spanish tiles with vintage stock, called inspector for final inspection. It was better, faster, and perhaps less than other bids involving a general contractor plus roofer.

The owner came out and inspected my roof and suggested some minor repairs which I agreed to. The repairs were completed quickly and done well. The owner wrote a letter to my homeowners insurance company stating that the roof had at least 10 more years of life.

A&B Roofing was the only Roofing Co. that let me know that there was "still some life" in the shingle tiles on the roof and thus proposed only doing the flat roof portion; which helped save some of the expense with the project. All the workers were courteous, arrived on time and always cleaned up the yard at the end of the day. An unexpected custom fit metal/aluminum -like edging was placed along the roofline to help protect the wood layers from sun rot. It was also a relief to find a company that would do a flat roof, as many companies I called did not! And the prompt response for an assessment of the roof done by the owner of the company! (Several companies were booked for 4-6 months out just for an assessment!) The estimated time for completion of the job was spot on! Would definitly recommend this company!
